Harriett Barnes AIF®
Harriett is the founder and principal of HB Financial Group, she began her career in the financial services industry in 1990. Her unique abilities to understand client's values, dreams, goals and objectives, as well as the complexities of their individual financial situations, allowed her to build a very successful practice where she helps clients with Financial Planning, Wealth Management, Investments, and Insurance needs.
Harriett is an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network, offering advisory services to her clients. She has her FINRA's Series 6, 7, 63 & 65 securities registrations as well as life, accident, long term care and health insurance.Also, Harriett is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®(AIF®) designee. The Accredited Investment Fiduciary®(AIF®) Designation has been the mark of commitment to a standard of investment fiduciary excellence.
When not at work, Harriett enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, roller blading, kayaking, riding her bike and gardening. One of her most memorable accomplishments was mentoring inner city middle school students in a leadership program designed to promote teamwork and foster community service. The program allowed students to address the needs they saw in their community while providing support for them to test their ideas and have them become reality. After taking top place in two separate forums, one at AIC, the second at John F. Kennedy Library, they were rewarded for their hard work with an all expenses paid trip to Washington to visit their Congressional delegation and tour the nation's capital.
Christina has over 14 years of work experience in increasingly responsible roles within marketing and management. Her experience is enhanced by her Bachelor’s degree in Business with a major in Marketing. As Marketing Coordinator, Christina will take the lead on coordinating all efforts of marketing to include development and dissemination of marketing materials/brochures, quarterly newsletters, and sending market updates to clients. She will also coordinate all aspects of seminar set up and delivery, client appreciation events, oversee the website administration, and other responsibilities as needed.
When not at work, Christina enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
